May mga time talaga na kahit ako naku-curious kung bakit may mga interes akong kakaiba kesa sa normal dapat sa generation or edad ko. Lalo na yung hilig ko sa old music and retro tech kahit alam ko naman na may impluwensya din talaga yung parents ko dun. Pero feeling ko pa din old soul ako.

Ngayon ko lang naiintindihan kung bakit connected sa pagiging timeless yung awareness ng mga old soul. Akala ko kasi dati literal na pang oldies yung habits and interest ng mga old soul. So nagbabasa-basa ako nung mga shit about old souls, timeless in a sense that your spirit seems like it was reborn multiple times before.

Ako pa naman mas maniniwala pa sa coincidence kesa sa mga superficial things like reincarnation, although possible pa din naman siyang i-interpret as personality lang talaga, pero nagiging blurry nga siya sa similarities ng superficial tska psychological meaning niya. Sundays be like

today's family lunch was lowkey. no extended family only my parents and siblings are around which was good since I could rest and enjoy the day. we had these cute-looking eggs for appetizer and manang cion served us spicy Korean ribs while the kids had fried chicken. dessert was selecta ice cream cones - walang bumili ng cake or fruits, obvious tinamad lahat.

there was still time to spare so we went to check out some tech stores since he needed to buy a hard drive. ako naman I saw Mossimo was on 50% sale so I got myself two shirts kasi alam nyo naman ako, bibili ako basta sale at dapat 50% say.

holy fucking shit my girl is a HEATER. Their natural temperature normally runs higher than average, while at first, Gray Raven thought it was a medical condition or smthg only to find out it’s completely harmless to Azure. Now they get clinged to by all ice-type constructs when they overdo it

They barely get along with Asimov, which is ironic considering how interested they are in construct tech

I did explain it a bit in the reblog but since some are interested in the Siblings code/language, I thought I'd explain it a bit here.

So, grammar is pretty much nonexistent, and syntax is irrelevant.

The code is made up of 6 core languages; Klingon, Spanish, Hindi, Elvish (LOTR), Welsh, & Latin.

(I say core because frankly, the siblings would eventually pick up more languages, real or fictional, and it would end up being incorporated.)

English and Na'vi aren't used in the code since it evolved as a means for the siblings to openly communicate without being understood, and most of the adults around them know at least one of those 2 languages.

In terms of how exactly the code is structured, it'd be similar to how the Navajo code was used in WW2 but not exactly.

Words are almost never direct translations, so the word they'd use for 'water' wouldn't literally be 'water' in Klingon, Spanish, etc. The translations are parallel in a sense.

(Example: In Navajo code, they used 'Iron fish' for a submarine.)

Now, since they use at least 6 different languages in the code, there are multiple code translations for a single word, and all of them would/could be used.

The trick to understanding the code is to a) adopt an 'abandon all hope, ye who enter here' mentality and b) pay attention to what sibling is speaking and their tone/emotions.

To give you an idea of how that works, I give you context regarding each sibling.

Ro'eyk uses Klingon when referring to/talking about tech-related things, specifically objects.

Rävi favours the 'softer' or 'poetic-sounding' languages, like Latin or Elvish, when it comes to family or kinship terms and when expressing emotion.

Reyzì has a tendency to Welsh for verbs, Klingon for nouns, and Spanish for adjectives.

Spider is tricky because he, more often than not, just mimics the sibling he is talking to.

Additional Languages that I would see thrown in are Ancient Greek and Old English, mostly for the use of root words.

When it comes to sentence structure, it once again depends on the sibling, what they are trying to say, and the emotion behind it.

Tech problems fill me with dread

BUKOD SA HINDI talaga ako tech-savvy, madalas ay magastos magresolba ng tech problems. When "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" stops working, good luck—your device might be dying! The latest and worst tech problem I have is my laptop constantly crashing.

My laptop is probably nearing the end of its lifespan. It might just be overheating kasi ang sama talaga ng panahon, but it's more likely that my unit's way more messed up. Nag-crash ito habang naglalaro ako ng Black Flag after the laptop being on for four hours habang nag-eedit ako ng research paper. After that, hindi na ako makapag-launch ng mga laro. Reset my PC and I still have that problem now, so software issues can probably be ruled out.

I've been using this laptop for a little over two years now. Before that, it was used by someone else. Before that, it was in a pawn shop. Before that, it was passed down to us from my cousin who used it for a while before deciding it did not spark joy for them. I'd say the laptop is four years old, at the very least, possibly five. I use this for one more year at college and it'll probably die on me anyway.

Then there's the issue of Windows 10 losing support relatively soon.

I don't think I can do anything about this laptop now. Baka oras na para tanggapin ko na lang na kakailanganin ko na ring bumili ng kapalit sooner or later. At dito na nga pumapasok ang isang problema: pera.

It will take me at least have a year para makaipon for a new PC. I've been told that a desktop unit will be better for me, lalo na't hindi ko rin naman dadalhin sa labas kahit laptop ang bilhin ko. Laptops thin your wallet a lot because you pay for portability—at kapag nasira, chances are you'd have to replace the whole device. Since portability is not really an issue for me, a desktop would be nice. I just have to declutter. A lot.

But right now, I just have to deal with what I have: a laptop that crashes whenever I try to launch the games that kept me sane when pressure was pushing down on me from all directions, and also crash every now and then when I'm browsing and drawing. Hopefully, I could get myself occupied with things that aren't computer games. I honestly feel really helpless knowing I can't fix this anytime soon while I am painfully aware of how much this means to me.

And speaking about games, mobile games aren't even an option for me. I have a phone with 32GB storage and around 20GB is used for pre-installed applications, and even the usual social media apps take up so much space these days. Scam, honestly.

₱20,00 isn't an easy amount to get for a college student—lalo kung suki ka ng wrong timing. Hindi ko inabot ang application ng scholarship grant sa city ko at sarado na rin 'yung province-levelna grant. Hindi na nagbibigay ng lagpas sa exact amount ng bayarin sa school 'yung scholarship grant na meron ako ngayon, wala rin akong allowance from that. I could open art commissions again, but that's assuming my laptop won't die on me habang may mga kliyente ako.

How about a part-time job? I'd love to have one, pero maraming kailangang i-unpack na family-related problems that are preventing me from applying for one.

What goes around comes back home when you least expect it.

He doesn't even have any specific criticisms of Wikipedia. Jimmy Wales called him out for removing verification with very specific criticisms, and he just responded "please fix Wokipedia". Ladies and gentlemen...got 'em!!!!!1!
